鈥楴avigating Uncertainty Together, Part II鈥 

鈥孉n information session will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 30, in Filene Recital Hall and to continue discussions about the status of the current administration鈥檚 executive orders, provide resources, and review the College鈥檚 latest responses to an evolving legal landscape. 鈥孧iddle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) Accreditation update

鈥孊uilding on 2023-24 foundations, 2024-25 contributions to this collaborative, peer-reviewed process have included the Self-Study Institute, our submitted self-study design, and a MSCHE liaison campus visit. Working groups are now finalizing findings that will shape the draft report. The campus community will be invited to review and provide feedback on the draft in fall 2025. The final report will be submitted in February 2026 ahead of a spring 2026 peer review team visit. Beware of phishing emails 

鈥孴he IT department detected that several 三亿体育官网 email accounts received a phishing email with the subject line "Open slot." The email suggests that there is a "pressing need for student research assistants ..." If you received such an email, delete it immediately. Look out for an email from IT with suggestions to identify and avoid phishing emails.

鈥孖nterlibrary loan returns due soon 

鈥孊ooks borrowed using interlibrary loans are due back to the library by Monday, May 5. Contact Sandie Brown with questions.

鈥孨ew sculpture installation

鈥孲culptor Fitzhugh Karol 鈥04 will unveil a permanent large-scale sculpture at 三亿体育官网 on Monday, May 12. Installation is scheduled to occur in the afternoon between Saisselin Art Building and Filene Music Hall. A brief gathering to celebrate this generous addition to campus will follow and all are welcome. Additional information will be shared via SWB next week. 

鈥孲toles and Cords Celebration

鈥孞oin the Office of Student Diversity and Inclusion and campus partners for the from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13, in the Glotzbach Atrium of the Billie Tisch Center for Integrated Sciences. This event honors the accomplishments of graduating students and celebrates the diversity, resilience, and uniqueness of each individual journey. All graduating students are welcome to participate. 鈥孞oin the Workforce Team Challenge 鈥

鈥孴he Work Force Team Challenge will take place on Thursday, May 15, in Albany. by Monday, May 5. To participate, select 三亿体育官网鈥檚 team and fill out the required information. Do not check out; 三亿体育官网鈥檚 team captain, Darren Drabek, will manage payments. 鈥孊ike for free with CDPHP Cycle 鈥

The program includes free access to pedal bikes, and e-bikes are free for the first 30 minutes (e-bikes parked outside of Cycle! racks are charged a $2 convenience fee). 鈥孏ive+Go signups and donations 鈥 鈥

鈥孏ive+Go is an annual program designed to gather gently used goods left behind by students at the end of the academic year to bring to nonprofits. Students are invited to leave donations at bins around campus. Sign up to volunteer for and during the . Contact Celia Darling with questions. 

鈥孋ampus chill water system activation 鈥

鈥孎acilities Services has begun the process of starting up the campus chill water system, which provides air conditioning for some campus buildings and should be ready in early May. The following buildings are affected: Bolton Hall, Palamountain Hall, Tisch Learning Center, Barrett Center, Ladd Hall, Case Center, Howe Rounds Hall, Wait Hall, one section of Jonsson Tower, Scribner Library, and Janet Kinghorn Bernhard Theater. 

鈥孯eal ID deadline approaching 鈥 鈥

鈥孲tarting May 7, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will require state-issued driver's licenses or identification cards that meet standards to board domestic flights. Travelers should check their driver鈥檚 license for the Real ID star and apply if needed. Or they may use a passport or another TSA-approved ID to travel. Contact Carol Schnitzer with questions.
